The current committee is in need of volunteers to join the officers to ensure our branches are represented on Regional matters. Willing volunteers must be current members of the Guild (i.e. have renewed their annual subscription in September 2020 or be a Life Member). Nomination forms have been sent to branch secretaries. Completed forms should be sent to the Regional Secretary, Sheelagh Barker no later than 20 October 2020.

Ideally all our branches will be represented on the committee to ensure all members' views are known. These representatives actively support the officers by helping with the organisation of events and general activities of the Region. We would like these willing active volunteers to have a general level of IT skills (we communicate by email and video conferencing). Some may be more experienced, perhaps in desktop publishing for producing newsletters, leaflets and attractive posters, others will have experience in organising workshops and lectures, curating exhibitions or fundraising. The committee supports each other to ensure tasks are shared so they don't become too onerous.
